Just a few blocks walk from the popular fishing canal and from Pine Beach Recreation Area - wooded acreage with picnic tables and wildlife - right where the Colorado River spills into Shadow Mountain Lake. A mile down paved Road 66 is Greenridge Boat Launch on Shadow Mountain Lake from which you can boat into Grand Lake and tie up at the public docks.

Many of the cabins along here date back to around 1932 through the 1940's. There was a pie shop around these cabins of which old-timers had fond memories. Years ago, because of the curve of Road 461 just off 34, this area was known as Crescent Camp. The cabins to the south shared a common bath house across the road;
that is now a privately owned cabin. Zoning is Tourist, which may permit you to run a business from your home legally and to put out a sign. If this is important to you, you might check with the Planning Department at Community Development in the Grand County Courthouse; the switchboard is 970-725-3347. The Lehman Irrigation stream, a scenic small stream to splash in, runs along the property most of the summer and into the fall.
